Color Matching Brooch

Inspired by e-textiles, I prototyped a brooch that would match the color of the wearer's clothes. I wanted to make it as small as possible, so I used a TinyLily Mini processor and a Flora color sensor. I 3D printed a frame in the shape of a turtle to house the electronics and wired the color sensor, a small switch, and 3 RGB LED's to the processor. When the switch was pressed, I read in the RGB values from the sensor and used PWM to match the color as best as possible. The best results occurred with clothes/objects that were solid red, green, blue, orange, and purple. I didn't have the correct wires at the time, so the brooch could still be made a little smaller.
